Dear CFHA Members,
I started trapping when I was 12 years old with some traps my father gave me. I targeted muskrats and raccoons and listened to trapping stories from my Dad and read issues of "For Fish and Game". Three years later I lost my Dad and continued to trap without his advice and encouragement. Trapping became my therapy and I soon became addicted to trapping. I made a lot of friends along the way who share the same passion for trapping as myself.
With the exception of my four years in Marine Corps, I trapped every year. I bring to our organization over 35 years of trapping experience and motivation to educate our next generation of trappers to ensure our future and help our organization grow.
I firmly believe that without our members, our organization will perish as will our trapping heritage. It is a constant battle, but with our members support we will have a successful organization.
May your socks stay dry and your hands stay warm!
